The long-awaited start of filly Blessed Truly in the Muskoka Stakes on Millions Night. She is a half-sister to Queen’s Plate winner One Bad Boy.

Blessed Truly didn’t make it easy for the 10-horse field in the Muskoka Stakes on Canadian Millions night at Woodbine. She won by many lengths.

Blessed Truly was really intended to be named Truly Blessed, but somebody got the words switched around.

After three scratches, that left only three horses to contest the Elgin Stakes. This is how it shook out at the start: Aheadbyacentury took the lead, while Thor’s Rocket hovered at his flank and Kingsport bided his time behind them.
Charge of the light brigatde in the home stretch. An exciting three-horse duel to the finish!
Kingsport edges past the other two, but Thor’s Rocket is fighting back.
And Kingsport just nails it. Kingsport never came back to the winner’s circle. He was vanned off on the first turn, but later was pronounced okay.
